James Smith
Raised up in a New York music oriented family, discovered his talent and started his singing career at the age of five. Through gospel choir and different live concerts he was able to use his golden voice to make himself highly interesting. At the age of sixteen he was already an opening act for different artists in the U.S., worked a long side with Tony Terry and Chaka Khan as well as Off-Broadway Musicals e.g. “Mama I Want To Sing”.
As an actor he performed in different movie productions, in films like Spike Lee´s “Malcom X” and “Boomerang” with Eddie Murphy. In the early 90`s James Smith made his way to Europe by touring with the “Black Gospel Pearls”. And here again his golden voice and charismatic stage presence made him fastly a remarkable singer and entertainer. He signed his first record deal with the EMI Germany and with his debut single “I Like It” made his way into the European charts.
Since then James Smith has been touring in and around Europe performing as singer and moderator in different live concerts as well as TV shows. As a Lead Singer of the European Nr. 1 rated Dinner Show “Fantissima” in Brühl /Germany. James Smith credibly enchants his audience with his great Voice and performances on a daily basis since 2009.
